I finally jumped in and decided to give Fiverr a chance. They said a lot of good things about some of the artists and of course there were the bad things. But I was blessed and chose a really nice and easy to talk to artist concerning my concept for Wonderlost. She has done a gorgeous first sketch. Better than I imagined. Can’t wait for the touch ups and then color! I will still go to my brother first for my covers, but I know where to go when he’s a little busy. Can’t show y’all yet, but she’s working faster than I thought she would.
My creativity is running amok. On one side I am writing And rewriting the first chapter to the new stand-alone for my Mostly Human trilogy. So far it being a little difficult, but it’s determined to be written. On the other side is the sudden inspiration to practice creating bracers/cuffs. The ones so far came out really well. I’m just having issues with doing two of the same design. I love my one hit wonders, but I promised to make a set. So I’m still working at it. And to top it all off, the urge to draw is so freaking strong. Not just any drawing, but portraits of Honey and Sammus. This weekend will be creative. 😁
I guess you can say I’m binge watching it. In a mood to try new things and I’m finally getting around to watching GRIMM. It’s actually pretty good! Wu is my favorite character. I love the way he looks, talk and overall attitude concerning the wierdness that has become practically every day. I’m sorry that it’s coming to an end as I’m in the Fourth season and there are only six. But I’ve been told it ended pretty well.
I’m hoping to it will inspire me to actually complete a project this year. I’m desperate to publish something, but the creativity is coming in spurts. Although I have started the first chapter in the ‘fourth ‘ book for my space opera. No title yet, but it will be a stand-alone novel.😁
I promised my son that I would make spaghetti for him on Saturday and I always keep my word. I just didn’t realize how tired and ‘blah’ I would feel when I started cooking. I turned the television on to distract me from dazing out and ended up grabbing the wrong seasoning for my sauce. I hadn’t realized what I had put in until the smell hit me. Meaning to grab the Old Bay, I grabbed the cinnamon that was next to it instead. I was going to freak out and attempt to remove the cinnamon, but the smell was sooooooooooo wonderful. Because of that I thought about how cardamom, mace, anise, nutmeg and clove were used in a lot of Indian food and decided to leave it. It was a great choice. After all was said and done my husband and son were a little confused at the aroma as it didn’t smell like my usual spaghetti, but was still wonderful and the taste! It was fantastic! I had to hide the last portion for myself! 😝😁 Who’dathunkit? Cinnamon in spaghetti?

Happy birthday to my son! He’s officially 9 years old today! Very proud of his accomplishments so far and here’s to hoping he learns from his mistakes in the past. New adventures, new experiences and I get to watch it all. Love you so much, my little knuckle head!
